Sensomatic:
The Sensomatic is a new generation Milking Monitor assistant. The milk sensor and information terminal have been developed with both the operator and the animal mind. The Sensomatic dynamic design makes it a user and maintenance friendly Milk Monitor that can be easily fitted in to any milking parlour. It controls essential milking functions such as pulsation control and cluster take off, and provides valuable information to the milker about parameters such as milk yield, milk flow rate, milking time and milk temperature
The Sensomatic’s measuring principle also allows for accurate indication of smaller milk yields. This makes the device suitable for milking small ruminants such as sheep and goats. The tube-shaped free-flow Milk Sensor is located in the long milk tube between the cluster and the milk line. The distinctive design of the Sensor allows the milk to flow unrestrickted without the need of any moving or wearing parts. The Sensor design also contributes to the highest cleaning standard.
Sensomatic provides valuable information about the conductivity and temperature of the milk passing through the Sensor. These parameters can be used as an effective management tool in monitoring and improving udder health.
WatchID:
The unique Sensomatic Watch ID system is a mobile identification concept and offers a reliable animal ID system that meets the accuracy of per stall ID systems at a low cost level. This Watch ID system uses a special "watch" like identification unit worn on the operators' wrists to detect both the 'address' of the milking stall and the Tiris-tag of the animal at the moment the cluster is attached for milking. In this way, data on that animal's milking can be obtained accurately and reliably.
With the Watch ID system the infrastructure costs of multiple antennas and wiring, are eliminated. The design of the Watch-id system is applicable to most parlour systems, even to parlours like:
-Shared or Swingover parlours, where animals standing opposite to each other are milked by one Sensomatic unit.
-Free-style parlours, where animals standing next to each other are milked by one Sensomatic unit.
